Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our team in Ballarat. As a key member of our sales and support team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting our products, and contributing to the growth and success of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales and Customer Service: Provide timely and effective responses to customer inquiries via phone, email, and face-to-face interactions. Identify opportunities to promote our products and services to generate sales.
- Merchandising and Stock Replenishment: Ensure that stock levels are maintained and merchandised effectively to meet customer demand.
- Process Sales Orders and Generate Quotations: Process sales orders, generate quotations, and engage with e-commerce platforms to ensure seamless customer experiences.
- Service Centre and Office Management: Maintain a professional and organized service centre, ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently.
- Troubleshooting and Enquiry Resolution: Resolve customer enquiries in a quick and efficient manner, using strong problem-solving skills and product knowledge.
- Stock Control and Warehouse Management: Manage stock levels, maintain accurate records, and coordinate logistics to ensure smooth operations.
- Communication and Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve business objectives, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and maintain a positive work environment.
- Previous Experience: 1+ years of experience in a retail, hardware, or trade-type environment. Steel industry experience is highly regarded but not essential.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
- Face-to-Face Selling and Entrepreneurial Spirit: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, sell our products confidently, and provide excellent customer service.
- Organizational and Time Management Skills: Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and maintain high productivity levels.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, contribute to a positive work environment, and support business objectives.
- Demonstrated Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, and maintain high standards of quality.
Ausreo offers a competitive salary package, including a base salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus monthly cash incentives for achieving targets.
