Job Description

We are seeking an E&I Technician to join our team in Karratha, Western Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on electrical and instrumentation equipment, as well as troubleshooting complex systems.

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced E&I Technician to work with a leading organization in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Troubleshoot complex systems and diagnose faults.
  • Work closely with reliability engineers to ensure efficient operation of equipment.
  • Accurately document work in SAP, including time, technical feedback, and job progress.
  • Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards.
  • Support team capability by mentoring apprentices and collaborating across teams.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A recognized electrical trade qualification.
  • A Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent trade qualification.
  • EEHA and High Voltage Switching certifications.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar industry (petrochemical, gas, or oil refining).
  • SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
  • A strong understanding of industry standards, safety and environmental practices.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
