About the RoleExpressions of interest are invited from individuals who are suitably qualified and would like to be considered for future E&I Technician opportunities at our site in Karratha, Western Australia.
Responsibilities- Preventive, corrective and breakdown maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment will be performed by this role.
- Faults will be diagnosed and complex systems will be troubleshooted, working closely with reliability engineers.
- Work will be accurately documented in SAP, including time, technical feedback and job progress.
- Compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards will be ensured.
- Team capability will be supported by mentoring apprentices and collaborating across teams.
- WA-recognised electrical trade qualifications are required.
- A Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent trade qualification is also required.
- EEHA and High Voltage Switching certifications are necessary.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar industry (petrochemical, gas or oil refining) is required.
- SAP and Microsoft Office skills are preferred.
- A strong understanding of industry standards, safety and environmental practices is essential.
- Fluent written and spoken English is required.
- Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency is also required.
- Complimentary housing for the duration of employment is available.
- 5 weeks of paid annual leave are included.
- An optional RDO roster is available, including 16 accrued Rostered Days Off per calendar year.
- A $35,000 regional location allowance is offered annually.
- $1,000 annual Health and Wellness allowance is provided.
- An annual bonus program with a target of one month's base salary is available.
- $3,000 p.a. electricity/water utility reimbursement is offered.
- Flights for yourself and dependents, twice per year, after initial service period are provided.
- Relocation assistance is also available.
- 6 months paid primary parental leave is included.
