We are seeking skilled professionals to join our team of electrical and instrumentation technicians.

About the Role

As an E&I Technician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairs of electrical and instrumentation equipment. You will also diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues using a variety of tools and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, testing, and repairs of electrical and instrumentation equipment.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues using a variety of tools and techniques.
  • Documentation: Accurately document work in our records system, including time, technical feedback, and job progress.
  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety procedures and environmental standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Mentor apprentices and collaborate across teams to support team capability.

You will work on a range of projects, from routine maintenance to complex troubleshooting and repair. Your strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be essential in identifying and resolving issues efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Electrical Trade Qualification: WA-recognised electrical trade qualifications.
  • Instrumentation Certification: Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent trade qualification.
  • Certifications: EEHA and High Voltage Switching certifications.
  • Industry Experience: Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar industry (petrochemical, gas, or oil refining).
  • Technical Skills: SAP and Microsoft Office skills (preferred).
  • Language Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Residency Status: Australian or New Zealand citizenship or permanent residency.
