Electrical and Instrumentation Technician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our team in Karratha, Western Australia. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to work on complex systems, ensure safety and compliance, and collaborate with others.
About the RoleThis is a challenging role that requires the ability to diagnose faults, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment. You will work closely with reliability engineers and be responsible for documenting your work in SAP.
You will need to have strong electrical trade qualifications, including a Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent trade qualification. You should also have experience in a similar industry, such as petrochemical, gas, or oil refining, and certifications in EEHA and High Voltage Switching.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance on electrical and instrumentation equipment.
- Diagnose faults and conduct troubleshooting on complex systems, working closely with reliability engineers.
- Accurately document work in SAP, including time, technical feedback, and job progress.
- WA-recognised electrical trade qualifications.
- Certificate IV in Instrumentation or equivalent trade qualification.
- EEHA and High Voltage Switching certifications.
- Minimum 4 years' experience in a similar industry (petrochemical, gas, or oil refining).
- SAP and Microsoft Office skills (preferred).
