The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Administrator to join our team in Muchea. This role forms an integral part of our team, responsible for administrative functions and providing support to the rest of the team.

Key Responsibilities

This role involves performing various administrative and clerical tasks to support our Workshop Office, Fleet Supervisors, and Operations Manager. You will be responsible for:

  • Accounts payable and receivable management
  • Creating and actioning purchase orders
  • Assisting in processing payroll for over 55 employees
  • Maintaining payroll records, including timesheets, leave applications, and deductions
  • Processing of EOM report
  • Balancing of hauled products with client daily
  • Creating new item codes and liaising with clients regarding current purchase orders
  • Liaising with suppliers/contractors to ensure all safety requirements are compliant
  • Ordering of PPE, workshop parts, office stationery/consumables
  • Assisting with data entry, record keeping, and other ad hoc tasks

Qualification and Experience

To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Prior experience within the mining, logistics, and/or heavy transportation industries preferred
  • Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience (essential)
  • Payroll experience (essential)
  • Experience with Connect, Mainpac, Oracle, Rapid, and Microster (desirable)
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Numeracy skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and oral
  • Proven ability to pick up internal systems (IT) quickly
  • Experienced and skilled in using Microsoft Office products, data entry, and working across spreadsheets (essential)
  • Email management
