About the Role

Pinnacle Rehab is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist to join our team in the Psychological Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients with psychological disorders, creating and monitoring rehabilitation plans, and aiming to gradually return your clients back to work.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of clients with a psychological or physical injury
  • Complete initial and psychometric assessments, identifying suitable goals
  • Identify barriers preventing clients from returning to work
  • Organise appropriate intervention with stakeholders
  • Provide vocational counselling
  • Conduct vocational assessments
  • Attend medical appointments and structured intervention-based programs with your clients
  • Complete reports after assessments and meetings
  • Communicate with medical professionals regarding diagnoses and treatment
  • Facilitate a safe and timely graduated return to work
  • Document case notes as part of reporting and compliance requirements, applying your clinical judgement to support and guide your clients

About You

  • Associate or Full membership with ASORC as a Rehabilitation Counsellor OR
  • Registration with AHPRA as a Provisional Psychologist or Psychologist
  • Car and valid Driver's license
  • Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships
  • Ability to work in autonomously and as part of a team
