The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced, driven, and client-focused Structural Associate to join our Newcastle office. As a leading role, you will ensure the successful delivery of pioneering structural solutions to prestigious and technically challenging projects. This is an excellent opportunity for recently chartered principal engineers looking to grow and develop with support to create their own future as a leader in the industry.

You will lead a team of expert engineers and technicians, working closely with colleagues from various disciplines to manage the delivery of technically-excellent, profitable projects both locally and globally. You will develop new and nurture existing client relationships, maximize satisfaction, and ensure repeat business continues. You will utilize your wealth of expertise and determination to manage, motivate, and inspire less experienced engineers.

The Skills

A highly experienced chartered engineer with established project management skills, accredited with a bachelor's degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering, has developed a significant portfolio of relevant technical and leadership experience in a consultancy environment. In your most recent position, you have established your excellent reputation as a commercially aware leader in structural design, consistently demonstrating the ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and teams to meet and exceed client expectations. A passion for creative, innovative, and low-carbon design is crucial.

Excellent communication and project management skills are essential due to the collaborative and client-focused nature of this role.
