Job Title: Acquisitions Leader

About the Role:

As part of an organisation-wide transformation, we are seeking a skilled and experienced acquisitions leader to lead the planning and development of multiple major, high-value tenders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear and achievable end-to-end procurement plans incorporating tender strategies, documentation preparation, briefings, clarifications, evaluation, presentations and negotiation.
  • Collaborate closely with the department's central Procurement team to ensure alignment and adherence to procurement principles, policies and plans.
  • Support the Commercial Director in the preparation of all procurement documentation as input to external assurance gateway reviews.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in procurement management in multiple large, complex transformation programs.
  • Hands-on experience in developing approaches and tender documentation (RFI, RFP, RFQ) for complex technology implementation projects.
  • Proven ability to provide support and constructive procurement advice across a large, complex transformation program.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
