Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our mental health specialist team. The successful candidate will have expertise in general practice and a strong background in managing complex mental health cases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients with mental health conditions, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Lead and manage the mental health specialist team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including primary care providers and other healthcare organizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in mental health, incorporating new knowledge into clinical practice.
Requirements:
  • Registered medical practitioner with expertise in general practice and mental health.
  • Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or equivalent specialist recognition.
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills, with experience in leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
