Job Title: Business Development Strategist

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving commercial success by providing actionable insights and recommendations to inform business strategy and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough analysis of commercial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain accurate forecasts, ensuring they reflect current market conditions and approved assumptions.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial impact analyses, enabling informed decision-making.
  • Lead the development and implementation of commercial models and profitability reviews to drive effective business outcomes.
  • Manage risk, compliance, and audit requirements within the department, identifying opportunities for improvement and minimizing potential risks.
  • Partner with the finance evaluation team to deliver robust business cases, track benefits realization, and apply learnings to enhance future financial planning.
Requirements:
  • Hold a degree in a business or commercial discipline, accompanied by at least 5 years' experience in sales and commercial management.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.
  • Exhibit excellent stakeholder management, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a proven ability to influence outcomes and gain buy-in.
  • Be proficient in IT and commercial tools, including Excel, Think Cell, PowerPoint, and TM1.
  • Capable of working autonomously and responding effectively to ambiguity.
