Financial Data Specialist

This job provides financial data and accounting services.

Our company is seeking a Financial Data Specialist to support the accounting team through various tasks. As a Financial Data Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring timely account reconciliations, journal entry preparation, and completion of all required documentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Maintain accurate records and support SOX compliance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and complete financial reporting.
  • Support ad hoc tasks and projects as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • 2+ years of experience in general ledger accounting.
  • Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Experience with Accounting ERP systems.
  • Excellent attention to detail, strong organizational and communication skills.
