Job Title: Payroll Operations Lead

At our organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payroll Operations Lead to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual who is passionate about payroll and looking to take on new challenges.

This position involves effectively managing the high-volume end-to-end fortnightly payroll function, collaborating with internal stakeholders and external service providers, supervising an offshore payroll team, providing accurate data entry aligned with Award provisions, creating and customizing Payroll reports within the Payroll & HR systems, and supporting the Payroll Manager with Internal & External Audit requirements.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Effectively manage high volume end-to-end fortnightly payroll function
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers and supervise an offshore payroll team
  • Provide quick, accurate data entry aligned with Award provisions
  • Create and customize Payroll reports within the Payroll & HR systems
  • Support the Payroll Manager with Internal & External Audit requirements

The ideal candidate will have immediate availability, 2-5 years' experience working in payroll with a medium to large organization, a thorough understanding of Australian payroll and related legislation, excellent time management skills and accuracy, a collaborative mindset, and ability to work professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
