The Deli Women and Children’s Centre is seeking an experienced Domestic and Family Violence Counsellor to join our team. As a leading provider of DFV services, we strive to deliver high-quality, client-centred support that empowers women and promotes healing and growth.

This role requires specialist knowledge in trauma-informed practice, case management, and somatic therapeutic interventions. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of trauma recovery principles and be able to integrate somatic therapeutic interventions into their practice.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing individual trauma-informed counselling and case management for women impacted by DFV
  • Planning, facilitating, and evaluating group programs focused on trauma recovery and empowerment
  • Integrating somatic therapeutic interventions into counselling practices to support trauma recovery
