Earthmoving Service Leader

A leading earthmoving business is seeking a highly experienced Service Manager to lead their Melbourne operation.
The ideal candidate will have technical earthmoving experience, a proven track record of leadership, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the National Service Manager and regional aftersales management team.
- Drive performance and set an example for the team by overseeing operations.
- Grow and manage a developing team, maintain work ethic, and improve recruitment.
- Balance new builds with existing projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
- Coordinate deliveries and service backup support to customers.
- Lead by example with a proactive style, wearing multiple hats as needed and motivating the team.
- Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with OH&S policies.
- Engage with customers daily on invoicing, payments, and issue resolution.
- Direct Supervisors and the Service team in equipment repairs and delivery.
- Oversee workshop operations and collaborate with senior management.
- 5+ years as a Service Manager within the earthmoving industry.
- Experience working for a major dealership or OEM in Australia.
- Cert 3 Heavy Plant Mechanic qualification.
- Leadership qualities and trade qualifications.
