Senior Management Position

This is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the Northern Hemisphere breeding operation.

  • Manage all horses in the Northern Hemisphere breeding season, including foaling and neo-nates, reproduction and breeding, weanling/yearling management and day-to-day processes.
  • Lead a team of employees dedicated to the Northern Hemisphere operation and train new employees.
  • Maintain all horses in excellent condition year-round.
  • Manage contractors, including farriers, dentists, and veterinarians.
  • Ensure day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain paddocks, fencing, and facilities to a high standard.
  • Promote and ensure the safety of employees, contractors, and horses.
  • Maintain confidentiality and accurate record keeping.
  • Liaise with management and assist in other areas of the farm as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing or working in a busy breeding operation is essential.
  • Be well presented, a clear communicator, and have a desire to achieve great results.

  • Managing all aspects of horse care, including diet, vaccinations, and veterinary care.
  • Leading a team of employees and training new staff members.
  • Coordinating logistics and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Maintaining facilities and equipment to a high standard.
  • Ensuring employee safety and well-being.
