We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join our thoroughbred breeding team as a Stud Hand. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the daily operation of our stud farm.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Reporting any injuries or illnesses to management
  • Liaising with senior management on a daily basis
  • Preparing and dispensing feed regimes to horses
  • Handling and grooming young stock and mares
  • Assisting with management of horses during veterinary procedures
  • Performing drenching, vaccinations and veterinary treatments as instructed
  • Cleaning and maintaining horse stables and yards
