About the Role

This strategic leadership position plays a pivotal role in shaping the Victorian Treaty process.

The successful candidate will require expertise in policy management, program development, and effective stakeholder engagement.

Key accountabilities include:

  1. Providing leadership throughout the Treaty process on behalf of the department.
  2. Coordinating formal and informal engagement for Statewide Treaty position development.
  3. Driving cross-functional collaboration to deliver positions on Statewide Treaty negotiations.

This is a critical role in the department's coordination and engagement with the Victorian Treaty process.

The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of government, public administration, and decision-making frameworks.

They must possess negotiation and collaboration skills, as well as a commitment to the rights of First Peoples in Victoria.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
