About Quality Assurance Management Role

This key leadership position leads the Quality function and site leadership team, overseeing quality, food safety, and environmental responsibility. Key objectives include ensuring product delivery in specification while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and oversee Food Safety, Quality Management, Environmental & Social Responsibility programs for sites and associated supply chains.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure food safety and consistent product quality.

• Oversee HACCP program management.

• Coordinate third-party audit activities and ensure audit readiness.

• Investigate product-related issues, changes, legal claims, and customer complaints: coordinate resolution efforts with production teams.

• Lead external communications with customers on food safety, quality, and specifications.

• Communicate with government agencies and stay up-to-date on regulatory, customer, and industry standards around food safety and quality management, as well as social responsibility.

• Serve as primary liaison for all food safety, quality assurance, environmental & social responsibility matters with government agencies, customers, and corporate stakeholders to ensure alignment, compliance, and effective communication.

Requirements

You will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, organisational, and communication skills. The ability to work autonomously, proactively, and adapt to changing business demands is also essential.

A strong communicator who can build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders for productive outcomes. Ability to identify critical matters and escalate to relevant stakeholders when necessary.

Familiarity with legislative and operational requirements of Federal, State and Local Government Acts regarding food safety.
