About The Role:

Our team supports Defence estate support services and facilities management, delivering a range of estate, living, and base support capability.

You will provide live range services at the Defence Training facility, corresponding areas and exclusion zones during live range activities and operations.

This is a full-time opportunity offering 38 hours a week with overtime. Your days of work range from Monday – Sunday based on the schedule of works that are planned around the Defence force.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure safety protocols are followed
  • Prepare ranges for use by others
  • Undertake land management activities including; grass cutting, tree removal, weed spraying and GIS mapping
  • Respond to bush fires as required
  • Perform basic estate upkeep functions such as fence and gate repairs
  • Manufacture and repair targets as needed

Requirements:

  • Current Driver's Licence - Required
  • HR Truck Licence - Desirable
  • Experience in Range Training Areas and/or Land Management - Desirable
