Join our team as a Manager Government and Industry Relations

You'll lead a team in driving performance and achievement of our organisation's objectives through effective engagement, partnerships, and relationships with stakeholders. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Leadership - Create a positive and productive work environment, driving our success and developing strong, motivated teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Develop and lead our engagement with government and other key stakeholders, including industry engagement.
  • Strategic Planning - Guide our stakeholder engagement strategy and state government and industry engagement approach, ensuring buy-in from key internal business stakeholders.
  • Policy Development – Contribute to policy development through a robust understanding of opportunities and solutions presented through engagement.
  • Representation - Represent us with State Government and relevant Industry Bodies Representatives and their respective offices.
  • Issues Management – Identify and address issues through communications & engagement.

Key qualifications include tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a relevant discipline; IAP2 Certification (highly regarded); leadership experience within the water, infrastructure, planning, or utilities sector; strategic planning; organisational leadership; risk management; influencing senior stakeholders; project and change management; complex regulatory environments; negotiation; communication; inspiration; and guidance.

Salary Range: $130,000 - $160,000 per annum
