Factory Manager Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Factory Manager to join our team and lead our manufacturing operations. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading a team of production staff to achieve operational excellence and meet productivity targets.
  • Developing and implementing operational improvements to reduce costs and improve quality.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Managing and reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure the facility is operating efficiently.
  • Investigating and resolving operational issues to minimize downtime and optimize production.

Your Background

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Extensive experience in manufacturing leadership, with a proven track record of driving operational improvements.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • A strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and the ability to apply them in a production environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve complex operational issues.
  • A collaborative and inclusive leadership style, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
