Job Title

We are seeking a Legal Assistant with expertise in dust-related diseases and psychiatric injury claims to join our Defendant WorkCover team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth, providing the chance to work closely with a Partner and contribute to the success of our clients.

  • Key responsibilities include arranging mediations, Court conferences, medico-legal examinations and investigations;
  • Preparing legal documents and correspondence;
  • Preparing and collating Briefs ahead of court hearings; including Briefs to Counsel and Court Books;
  • Maintaining compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will be highly skilled, career-oriented, and motivated, with a strong focus on administrative support.

As a key member of the team, you will provide critical support for litigation arising from workers compensation claims, with a focus on dust-related diseases and psychiatric injury claims.
