Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Program Manager to lead our Water team in Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering intricate projects, collaborating with high-performing interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to business growth.

This is an exceptional opportunity for senior professionals with a passion for delivering water infrastructure solutions to join our Water Group based in Brisbane or Gold Coast offices.

  • Work closely with our senior team of experienced engineers, project technical leads, design managers, and other project managers to continue our excellent project delivery track record.
  • SUCCESSFULLY DELIVER COMPLEX PROJECTS
  • Contribute to strategic decision-making and challenge how our projects are being delivered.
  • Assist in the preparation of bids and proposals.
  • Develop strong working relationships with clients by delivering valuable business solutions and understanding their business needs.
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and support the development of junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering (or associated disciplines).
  • Demonstrated leadership capability and track record.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing project teams.
  • Solid understanding of water infrastructure preferred, including some or all of the following: water and sewerage networks, water and wastewater treatment plants, water resources projects, dams and pumped hydro infrastructure, general civil heavy infrastructure.
  • Project Management qualifications/certifications preferred (e.g. Project Management Professional) or working towards the attainment of a recognised qualification / certification.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a high level of financial acumen.
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks and multi-task to ensure deadlines are achieved.
  • Proven ability to build and manage relationships with clients to meet their objectives.
