The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wet Fire Systems Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all wet fire systems and firefighting equipment are properly maintained and serviced in accordance with Australian standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and service all wet fire systems and firefighting equipment to Australian standards
  • Conduct routine inspection, testing, and servicing of wet fire systems - sprinklers, hydrants, hoses, and pumps
  • Install new wet fire systems as required
  • Liaise directly with clients regarding service work, prepare customer quotations, and identify remedial work opportunities
  • Maintain strong understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118

Requirements:

  • Cert III in Fire Protection (desired)
  • Demonstrated experience working with wet fire systems
  • Understanding of Australian Standards 1851-2012 and AS2118
  • Ability to test, repair, and install wet fire systems
  • Drivers Licence
  • Accreditation with FPAS (Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme) would be well regarded
