**Job Opportunity**

We are seeking a highly skilled Government Affairs Specialist to lead site acquisition within local governments in Victoria. As a member of our leadership team, you will define the overall origination strategy and build a team to support you as we scale.

As a Government Affairs Specialist, you will be responsible for all site acquisition and business development for Victoria, including managing business development and B2G marketing functions. You will drive partnerships and site acquisitions for our electric vehicle charging network, increase our partnership base, and be accountable to site acquisition and profit targets.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead strategies and execution of business development activities, customer acquisition, and post-sales customer engagement for Governments.
  • Manage day-to-day aspects of Local & State Government affairs engagement
  • Develop new electric vehicle charging infrastructure with strong general knowledge of Local and State government town planning legislation related to out-of-home media and EV charging infrastructure.
  • Assist the broader commercial function in preparing tender documentation and presentations to existing and prospective clients.
  • Establish ongoing positive relationships with Local and State governments
  • Visit and present development concepts to Local and State governments
  • Manage preparation and delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual development-related reports

**Requirements:**

  • 7+ years experience in Government Affairs
  • A background within energy/utility, infrastructure, or media industries would be beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of business strategy and origination processes
  • Experience negotiating enterprise sales and site access agreements
  • Ability to operate with autonomy and accountability
  • Strong planning and cross-functional project management skills to deliver results
  • Multi-tasking, prioritization, and anticipation of internal stakeholders' needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous work experience with international or multinational companies a plus
  • Ideally holding a Bachelor's Degree from a reputable institution
  • Master's Degree in business or engineering a plus
