Service Technician Position Overview

We are currently seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our Automated Material Handling System.

Your primary responsibilities will include performing maintenance and operational duties as instructed, including reactive calls on our system to optimize productivity, asset availability, health & safety compliance, service quality, and teamwork.

To be successful in this role, you will require a methodical approach to workflows, flexibility to adapt to shift work, and a strong ability to serve as a technical contact during incidents for requests from internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on Vanderlande equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve technical issues with the Automated Material Handling System in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Customer Support: Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders, responding to queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

You will work within your assigned shift pattern on tasks involving electrical, instrument, mechanical, and control systems, including the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of all Vanderlande equipment on site.
