About Stakeholder Engagement Role

This role involves providing high-quality stakeholder engagement advice, planning, delivery and review across stakeholder engagement and communications activity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and implementing engagement plans to ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Arranging community engagement events, including sourcing quotes, booking venues, website updates, graphic design, printing and distributing materials.
  • Developing content for a range of communications collateral, such as newsletters, e-newsletters, advertisements, posters, flyers, media releases, briefing notes, social media, website and pinpoint in consultation with the communications team.
  • Preparing and conducting presentations for community groups, stakeholders and contractors.
  • Planning, coordinating, attending and reporting on project events to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Assisting with contractor management, including monitoring and responding to comments on social platforms.
  • Managing enquiries and complaints, including interactive online mapping tools.
  • Delivering project messaging with stakeholders and contractors to build positive working relationships.
Requirements:
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills to effectively liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking, collaboration and influencing skills to build positive working relationships and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of digital media and digital technologies to support community engagement.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite at an advanced level.
  • A drivers license - Class C is required for this role.
