Canteen Manager Position

Job Overview:

The Canteen Manager plays a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the school canteen, ensuring a smooth and efficient service for students and staff.

Responsibilities include opening and closing the canteen, preparing and selling menu items, maintaining food handling and money handling policies, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the canteen's day-to-day operations
  • Follow relevant food handling and money handling policies
  • Provide friendly and customer-focused service to students and staff

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in food preparation and service settings
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated customer service skills particularly with children
  • Basic Food Handling Certificate and Current Food Supervisor Certificate
  • Current paid NSW Working with Children Check number
