Caregiver - Domestic and Personal Support

About the Role:

This permanent part-time position involves providing domestic assistance and personal care to clients in North & West Launceston, Prospect, Hadspen, Trevallyn (West), Deloraine, Exeter, Deviot, Grindelwald, and surrounding suburbs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing daily tasks such as light cleaning, morning routines, medication assistance, grocery shopping, and kitchen and bathroom cleaning. They will also ensure home safety, support clients with daily activities, and maintain clear and accurate notes in client systems using mobile apps.

We are looking for a qualified support worker with a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a driver's license, reliable car, comprehensive insurance, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic assistance (light cleaning) and personal care to clients
  • Travel between client homes and perform scheduled visits for tasks such as bed making, vacuuming, mopping, ironing, cooking, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, and grocery shopping with clients
  • Ensure home safety and support clients to engage in daily activities and social interactions
  • Maintain clear and accurate notes in client systems after each visit using mobile apps
Requirements:
  • Qualified Support Worker with a Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or equivalent
  • Driver's license, reliable car, comprehensive insurance, WWCC, and First Aid/CPR certification
