Job Title: Senior Legal Expert
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Provide timely and comprehensive legal advice on critical issues related to the Courts, including workplace relations matters;
- Deliver strategic and authoritative legal counsel to senior management on complex issues impacting the Courts;
- Assist in developing early intervention strategies to promote positive dispute resolution outcomes;
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with statutory and administrative guidelines;
- Conduct thorough investigations into complaints against Registrars and staff;
- Develop and implement effective processes for managing court operations;
- Stay up-to-date with legal and regulatory developments affecting the Courts.
- Tertiary qualifications in law and admission as a practitioner of the High Court or Supreme Court;
- 3+ years of experience as a legal practitioner or in-house counsel;
- Strong knowledge of labour law and workplace relations;
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
The Senior Legal Expert works closely with the Director of Legal and Integrity to provide expert legal advice and support to senior management.
