Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Estate Administrator to join our team in Parramatta. This is a contract role till February 2025 with possible extension, offering hourly pay rate up to $35/hour + Super.

About the Role

This role involves directly administering between 40-70 Deceased Estates at various stages of the administration process and maintaining regular, professional and empathetic communication with internal stakeholders, external stakeholders and beneficiaries.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpretation of Wills and other legal documents.
  • Collating and submitting applications to the courts.
  • Writing to banks, insurance agencies, financial institutions, and other government agencies.
  • Paying claims and preparing distributions of estate assets to beneficiaries.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with beneficiaries through regular communication and updates.
  • Working closely with taxation, legal and professional services, property teams and subject matter experts to achieve quality outcomes focused on customer needs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A paralegal type background highly desirable for this role.
  • Strong financial acumen, initiative, and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to plan and prioritise work and meet deadlines, and have excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
