
Urban Development Strategic Growth Leader

We are seeking an experienced and accomplished Urban Development Team Lead to join our team in the Australian Capital Territory. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in urban development, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to create and implement strategic plans that drive growth and innovation.
The successful candidate will lead a high-performing team of professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless project delivery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building effective relationships with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and partners.
- Responsibilities:
- Lead the day-to-day allocation of resources across the discipline to meet project requirements, identifying priorities and organizing tasks accordingly.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and innovation in the urban development sector.
- Manage and mentor staff, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and partners.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, applying this knowledge to inform decision-making and drive business growth.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A tertiary qualification in engineering or a related field.
- At least 10 years of experience in the urban development sector, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of ACT specifications and procedures is desirable but not essential.
