Java Backend Developer Job

We are seeking a skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Java and related technologies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing scalable and efficient backend systems that meet the needs of our web applications.
  • Collaborating with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Implementing and maintaining RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, and rule engines like Kogito.
  • Performing code reviews to ensure high-quality code and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Troubleshooting and debugging issues in production and providing timely resolutions.

You will also be responsible for:

  • Staying up to date with industry trends and technologies and proposing innovative solutions to enhance our backend systems.
  • Evaluating and developing the non-functional aspects of solutions including security, privacy, availability, reliability, and performance.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A strong proficiency in Java and related technologies.
  • Experience in developing RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks like Spring Boot, Quarkus, and rule engines like Kogito.
  • Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk, Datadog etc.
  • Familiarity with database technologies such as MySQL, PostgreSQL etc.
  • Familiarity with enterprise integration patterns and best practices.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and developing the non-functional aspects of solutions including security, privacy, availability, reliability, and performance.
