Job Description
As an Aged Care Support Professional with Estia Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
- Lending a hand with daily life activities, ensuring our residents feel heard, comfortable, and well-fed.
- Working collaboratively with our team to support residents with complex needs.
- Helping keep residents physically and mentally active through various programs and activities.
- Maintaining accurate health records and providing medication assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse.
- Building strong relationships with residents, understanding their unique stories and experiences.
- Ensuring the dignity and privacy of all residents are respected at all times.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III or IV in Aged Care, or be currently studying towards it.
- Previous experience working as a caregiver or in a similar role.
- Strong clinical documentation and computer skills.
- A genuine desire to make a positive impact on people's lives.
