Sustainability Assurance

Our company is seeking a skilled professional to lead the development and implementation of our sustainability assurance methodology. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical accounting knowledge and skills, including applied knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain BDO's sustainability assurance methodology in line with ASSA 5000 and other emerging standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and respond to complex queries on sustainability assurance engagements from client-facing teams.
  • Collaborate with audit and assurance teams to ensure the effective application of assurance methodology in sustainability-related engagements.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in Accounting, Economics, or Business majoring in Accounting and/or Finance.
  • CA Qualified (or equivalent).
  • Excellent technical accounting knowledge and skills, including applied knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards.
