Key to delivering successful projects is a strong engineering foundation. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of water and wastewater treatment projects.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join our team in Newcastle. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering and a minimum of 10 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment design.

This role involves reviewing design requirements, conducting site investigations, calculations, modeling, oversight of drafting, and preparation of reports and specifications. You will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients and providing solutions and services to them both on and off site.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil (structural) engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in water and wastewater treatment and/or conveyance design
  • Knowledge of safety in design, constructability and operational practices and relevant Australian standards and WSAA codes
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across a multidisciplinary team
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills to interact with a broad range of audiences
