Job Title: Student Services Coordinator

We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused individual to serve as our first point of contact for students during their studies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal skills, enabling them to work effectively with students, faculty, and administrators in various environments.

  • This role involves managing high-quality student administration, ensuring consistent, effective, and efficient delivery.
  • Key responsibilities include working with the Assistant Registrar in student administration, serving as the first point of contact for students, providing administrative advice and support related to student and academic administration, assisting students and staff with course progression, grade moderation, finalising and distributing student results, reporting data accuracy and integrity, generating and distributing relevant information to students and staff, and assisting with planning and executing student events.

Selection Criteria:

  • A degree or equivalent qualifications in education or business administration/customer service is essential.
  • Subsequent experience working in academic administration and/or student services, preferably in a higher education setting, is preferred.
  • An ability to provide organisational advice and decisions relating to policies and procedures is required.
  • Organisational skills, including multi-tasking, prioritisation, and meeting deadlines, are necessary.
  • Acute attention to detail and analytical skills are crucial.
  • Experience with Higher Education Standards and data reporting is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of IT platforms and databases is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A commitment to upholding ethical integrity when handling sensitive duties is necessary.
  • Tech literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications, is essential.
