About the Role

We seek an experienced Senior Structural Design Engineer to join our Capability Life Cycle Manager team based out of Garden Island, Sydney.

The successful candidate will provide structural engineering expertise, technical guidance, leadership, and direction in support of Engineering Change activities for various platform structures.

This role involves autonomously delivering engineering outputs for engineering changes, exercising technical oversight, and ensuring compliance with approved policy, plans, and processes.

About You

To be considered, you must hold a Bachelor of Engineering or equivalent qualification in a recognized engineering discipline.

You should have experience with Requirements Development, Design Review, and Acceptance within a regulated technical framework, such as the Department of Defence.

Holding or being eligible for membership of a recognized professional body and registration as Chartered Engineering is essential.

A minimum of 5 years related experience, typically ranging from 5-10 years, is required, along with eligibility for ITAR clearance of relevant ship systems and SQEP Engineering Delegation Authority within an Authorised Engineering Organisation.
