We are seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join our team as a Forensic Clinician. In this role, you will work on complex cases with individuals who have histories of violent and sexual offending, playing a vital part in reducing re-offending and making the community safer.
As a Forensic Clinician, you will be responsible for delivering best-practice forensic intervention in a correctional environment, working within the Risk-Needs-Responsivity model to deliver individualised services including comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and treatment programs.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be registered as a Mental Health Nurse with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses and possess a current driver licence. You will also need to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
