Industrially Savvy Employee Relations Professional

This is a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced HR environment, supporting a portfolio of colleges, campuses, and offices across the Asia Pacific region.
As an Employee Relations and Industrial Matters Specialist, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end management of employee relations and industrial matters.
You will act as the main point of contact for disputes, grievances, and tribunal matters, conducting robust investigations and providing strategic advice to stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include managing sensitive termination processes and employee complaints to mitigate business risk.
In addition, you will provide expert guidance on workplace conduct, policies, and compliance obligations, delivering training and capability uplift across the HR and payroll functions.
Collaboration with HR Business Partners, WHS, Payroll, and Legal teams will ensure best practice is maintained.
With a strong understanding of the Australian IR/ER landscape and Fair Work legislation, you will thrive in this role if you have experience in conducting workplace investigations and managing ER disputes.
Excellent judgement, discretion, and communication skills under pressure are essential. The ideal candidate will have high emotional intelligence and confidence in managing sensitive issues.
A sharp eye for detail and strong MS Office skills are also required.
Tertiary qualifications in HR, IR, Law, or a related field are desirable but not essential.
