Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Procurement Officer to join our team at City Facilities Management. In this role, you will be responsible for managing equipment orders and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery and satisfaction of our client Coles.

About the Role

This is a 9-month fixed-term position with the possibility of extending or transitioning into a permanent role. You will work in a hybrid model, with two days of remote work per week and free onsite parking when in office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers to procure equipment within designated timeframes.
  • Request and negotiate quotations and availability from suppliers to meet our targets.
  • Manage inventory lists, database management, and status tracking of all projects.
  • Process orders, manage potential delays, and ensure timely delivery of capital/case equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and manage project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Purchasing, Logistics, Supply Chain, or Project Management (desired).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to collaborate with various levels within the organisation.
  • Attention to detail in complex environments.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal & written.
  • Strong analytical skills and high level of initiative.
  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.
  • Australian working rights.
