Home Care Support Worker

Domestic Assistants are needed to support clients with domestic tasks in their homes.
The successful candidates will have 3-6 months of experience in Domestic/Industrial cleaning and a valid Driver's License with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition.
Job DescriptionSupporting clients to maintain their independence by undertaking domestic tasks in the home as prescribed within the care/support plan is essential for this role.
Responsibilities include making beds, ironing, laundry, dusting, vacuuming and mopping the floor, with some social support in the community.
The Domestic Assistants will follow a predetermined schedule, travelling from home to home. Therefore, having unrestricted access to a vehicle and the ability to follow a digital schedule and care plan autonomously, via a mobile app, will be necessary.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential.
- $32.74 p/h + super
- Travel allowance of $1.03 per km
- Provided with a mobile phone for work purposes.
- 17.5% annual leave loading and excess leave cash out options
- 4-6 weeks Annual Leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year.
