This role is focused on providing leadership and technical expertise in hydrology and drainage solutions for major infrastructure projects across Australia.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, design, and delivery of hydrology and drainage solutions to ensure high-quality, sustainable outcomes.
  • Oversee flood risk assessments, catchment analysis, and stormwater management strategies that meet Australian Standards and Austroads guidelines.
  • Manage the development of concept and detailed designs for road and rail infrastructure, integrating surface and subsurface drainage systems, culverts, waterways, and flood protection infrastructure.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to multidisciplinary engineering teams to achieve innovative design outcomes.
  • Review and approve hydrological and hydraulic designs to ensure compliance with local authority requirements and environmental impact assessment protocols.
  • Utilize industry-standard modeling tools to perform and validate complex drainage and water management designs.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and stakeholders to manage project deliverables, timelines, and resources effectively.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices, digital engineering integration, and the adoption of BIM technologies within hydrology and drainage projects.
  • Support bid preparation, resource planning, and technical inputs for project proposals and business development efforts.
