Senior Water Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Water Infrastructure Specialist to lead multidisciplinary teams in the development of innovative and sustainable water infrastructure solutions for major transport projects across Australia.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong technical background in hydrology, drainage, and flood risk management, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality outputs on complex projects. Key responsibilities include planning, designing, and delivering water infrastructure solutions for major transport infrastructure projects, overseeing flood risk assessments, catchment analysis, and stormwater management strategies, and providing technical leadership and mentoring to multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in water infrastructure, hydrology, and drainage for major transport projects in Australia
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Standards, Austroads guidelines, and relevant local authority requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced understanding of hydrology and hydraulics modeling techniques
  • Experience working on major projects with state authorities
  • Proven ability to manage design budgets, schedules, and resource planning
