Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Drainage and Hydrology Specialist to lead our team in delivering exceptional results on complex projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of success in the drainage and hydrology field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and technical excellence in drainage and hydrology on various projects.
  • Lead multi-disciplinary project teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • A recognized professional with extensive experience working on drainage and hydrology projects.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate team members.
  • University degree in Civil Engineering or related field, with relevant certifications (e.g., RPEV).
  • Knowledge of Australian Rainfall and Runoff, AustRoads Guide to Road Design, VicRoads Drainage Requirements, and Australian Standards applicable to drainage infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in design software, including 12D, WBNM, RORB, RAFTS, MUSIC, HEC-RAS, and TUFLOW.
