We are seeking a skilled nurse to join our Paediatric & General Surgery unit. This is an ideal role for a surgical nurse looking to expand their skills and experience.

About the role

  • We require a registered nurse with at least 2 years' experience, preferably in paediatrics or adult nursing.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, as well as a strong ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • They will be able to provide high-quality patient care, liaise with the multidisciplinary team, and ensure patient and staff safety.
  • This role involves supervising and guiding nursing team members, delivering education and support to patients, and promoting quality patient care.

About the team

Our hospital is a 181-bed acute and rehabilitation facility with 17 operating theatres. We have a range of specialties including neurosurgery, orthopaedics, spinal, plastics, urology, ENT, rehabilitation, and general surgery. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care, and we are committed to continuous improvement and excellence.
