The Opportunity

As a key member of our diverse team at EML, you will play a critical role in supporting the development of our claims staff. Based in Newcastle or Sydney, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on someone's life every day. With a focus on delivering high-quality training and assessment, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to helping individuals reach their full potential.

The purpose of this role is to work closely with claims staff to demonstrate their competence and capability through completion of learning requirements and assessment. You will be responsible for preparing, conducting, and documenting both training delivery and assessment procedures.

This role also involves continual improvement and development of the EML frameworks to support team members in achieving their goals. With a focus on innovation and excellence, you will be part of a team that is committed to delivering outstanding results.

Your Responsibilities

  • Prepare for, conduct, and document training delivery and assessment procedures.
  • Maintain all records in a timely manner and in accordance with required policies and procedures.
  • Participate in and contribute to validation and moderation.
  • Use teaching and assessment methods that are fair, valid, current, and sufficient.
  • Conduct and support training needs analysis with key stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain internal and external relationships to facilitate the delivery of the strategy and objectives.
  • Create and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, internal clients, and the management team by displaying our values and behaviours.

About You

  • Experience working within the NSW workers compensation system is desirable.
  • Successful track record in achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Strong analytical, evaluation, and problem-solving skills to deliver innovative solutions throughout the continuous improvement lifecycle.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational ability, including the use of effective time management and prioritisation.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and a drive to provide a high level of service to our customers.
  • Experience working in a demanding, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite products, including intermediate to advanced skill levels of MS Word and MS Excel.
