Capital Investment Governance Role

We are seeking an experienced Capital Investment Governance professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for controlling and implementing the investment governance framework, reviewing and evaluating all large capital investment programs and customer connection projects.

This role requires a strong understanding of financial management principles, risk assessment methodologies, and project evaluation techniques. You will work closely with our business teams to develop and implement effective governance frameworks that ensure alignment with our strategic objectives.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain robust governance frameworks and processes
  • Evaluate and assess large capital investment programs and customer connection projects
  • Work closely with business teams to identify and mitigate risks associated with major projects
  • Provide expert advice on financial management and risk assessment methodologies

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in finance, accounting or commerce
  • Demonstrated work experience in accounting or finance role
  • 4-5 years of experience in a risk/governance role evaluating projects
  • Proven ability to think strategically, and demonstrate an innovative approach to problem solving
  • Intermediate Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel skills
  • Working knowledge of SAP (advantageous)
  • CPA/CA qualifications (advantageous)
