We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Hand to join our team at GNC Foods. As a key member of our small kitchen team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our food production processes.

Duties:

  • Accurately weigh and measure ingredients for recipe preparation
  • Blend and mix ingredients to produce high-quality products
  • Clean, sanitize, and maintain cleanliness of all kitchen equipment and areas
  • Pack and label products efficiently
  • Monitor the quality of batches to ensure consistency and excellence
  • Perform regular heavy lifting (up to 20KG) with occasional heavier loads

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar kitchen role or food handling environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to working variable hours
  • Full working rights and own transportation
  • Impeccable presentation and grooming standards
  • Knowledge of OH&S and hygiene principles
